BriSCA (British Stockcar Association) held the first ever meeting in the UK at New Cross Stadium, London on April 16th 1954.

Formula One Stock Cars are purpose built, open wheeled, unlimited engine capacity single seater racing cars. They are built to very strict specifications and compete on oval circuits in the UK and Europe.

Stock Car Racing is a contact motorsport where fellow competitors are forceably nudged out of the way.

Each race is run in graded order (roof colour) with the most successful drivers (red top superstars) starting at the back of the grid. At the front of the grid are white tops followed by yellow and blue roof coloured cars. Drivers are awarded points in each race depending on where they finish with monthly grading periods to determine roof colour.

Other roof colours are awarded for major championship wins and the world champion has the coverted gold roof.

Stock car racing is not for the faint hearted, it’s rough, it’s tough from start to finish.

Formula one stock car racing can be seen at the following race tracks:-
